  • Candle guidance
Always keep a burning candle within sight. Extinguish all candles when leaving a room or before going to sleep. Be sure the wick ember is no longer glowing. Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire. Keep burning candles away from furniture, drapes, bedding, carpets, books, paper, flammable decorations, etc Keep burning candles out of the reach of children and pets. Trim candlewicks to ¼ inch each time before burning. Long or crooked wicks can cause uneven burning and dripping. Always use a candleholder specifically designed for candle use. The holder should be heat resistant, sturdy, and large enough to contain any drips or melted wax Be sure the candleholder is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface. This can help prevent heat damage to underlying surfaces and prevent glass containers from breaking. Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches and debris at all times. Keep burning candles away from drafts, vents, ceiling fans and air currents. This will help prevent rapid, uneven burning, and avoid flame flare-ups and sooting. Drafts can also blow nearby lightweight items into the flame where they could catch fire. Always burn candles in a well-ventilated room. Don't burn too many candles in a small room or in a "tight" home where air exchange is limited. Don't burn a candle all the way down. Extinguish the flame if it comes too close to the holder or container. For a margin of safety, discontinue burning a candle when 2 inches of wax remains or ½ inch if in a container. Never touch or move a burning candle or container candle when the wax is liquid Never use a knife or sharp object to remove wax drippings from a glass holder. It might scratch, weaken, or cause the glass to break upon subsequent use. Place burning candles at least three inches apart from one another. This helps ensure they don't melt one another, or create their own drafts to cause improper burning. Use a snuffer to extinguish a candle. It's the safest way to prevent hot wax splatters Never extinguish candles with water. The water can cause the hot wax to splatter and might cause a glass container to break. Be very careful if using candles during a power outage. Flashlights and other battery-powered lights are safer sources of light during a power failure. Extinguish a candle if it repeatedly smokes, flickers, or the flame becomes too high. The candle isn't burning properly. Cool, trim the wick, then check for drafts before relighting Never use a candle as a night light Always burn candle in an upright position. Do not allow the candle to burn down to the bottom of the container. Do not move a burning candle. Do not use liquids to extinguish the candle. Do not allow to burn in excess of 1 hour. The container may become hot during use. Do not burn near or on bedding, near curtains and blinds. This is an adult product. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
  • Wax melts guidance
Remove all packaging before use. Wax melts should only be used in appropriate wax melt burners. Lace the wax melt burner on a level, flat, cool, heat-resistant surface away from draughts, other heat sources and flammable objects. If used on a non-heat resistant surface damage may occur if the wax melt burner is used without a protective plate, tray or similar product. Position the wax melt segment on the top bowl of the wax melt burner. Insert a tea-light in the bottom base of the wax melt burner. Only use with a good quality tea-light. Do not use with a maxi tea-light, votive or other candles. Ensure the wax melt burner is well ventilated. There must be at least 6.5cm of space above the flame within the wax melt burner. Allow the heat of the tea-light to melt the wax and fragrance will release into the room. The wax melt burner will become hot while in use, do not touch while in use, heated wax can cause burns. Allow the burner to cool completely before touching or moving. The wax melt burner becomes very hot during use, do not touch or move whilst alight or whilst wax remains molten. Add one piece of the wax melt pack at a time until the required melted wax fill is reached. Do not overfill the wax melt burner initially as the wax will spill over. Do not allow the pool of wax to completely evaporate so the top bowl becomes dry whilst a tea-light is still lit. This could cause the wax melt burner to scorch and (or) smoke. If wax remains in the bowl after use and you wish to remove the wax, wait until the wax cools and hardens, apply a small amount of warm water to soften the wax and then whilst using protective gloves gently place pressure on one end of the wax to pop the wax out. Keep foreign objects out of the wax pool. Extinguish the tea-light if the flame becomes enlarged, makes contact with the wax melt burner, or begins to smoke. Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame. Once extinguished allow wax melt burner to cool before moving. If wax remains in the burner bowl after use and you wish to remove it, wait until the wax cools and hardens, then apply a small amount of gentle pressure on one end of the wax until it pops out. Do not use metal or sharp objects to clean out wax as this may crack or damage the burner or cause injury. Keep the Wax Melt Burner and tea-light out of the reach of children and pets. Never leave a burning candle unattended or move it when lit. Do not burn the tea-light or leave the wax melt burner on or near anything that can catch fire.
